Dog-bed-dive-bombing Lola is a lucious love muffin who will make you laugh out loud as she plays outside, runs around until she is tired, and then runs inside and literally leaps onto her dog bed to rest. She is a wonderful dog for someone -- super affectionate, well-behaved in the house, loves to go for walks and play with toys, calm when left alone.  Lola has been with us for 3 long years waiting for someone to give her a chance.  She is absolutely precious in person, with a long body and slightly turned feet that suggest she may have some basset hound in her.  She is calm around other dogs unless they bother her -- She gets irritated at pesky dogs who keep harrassing her... but then again so do I !!  She has never reacted badly to a dog and we feel that she would do best in a home as either the only dog or with other well-socialized, calm dogs -- not hyper small dogs who are going to bark in her face or big dominant dogs who will challenge or frighten her.   

Lola was originally found scrounging for food by the freeway and a kind woman stopped for her; Lola hopped right in and showered the woman with kisses, then curled up on the back seat and snuggled in for a long sweet nap. You have to meet her to really get the full effect of her incredible spirit and wonderful smile. She is way more beautiful and adorable than these pictures tell.

Lola's adopter will receive a complimentary session with a professional trainer / behaviorist.
