THUMPINGTAILS ANIMAL RESCUE is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs into loving homes. Our dogs are rescued from public shelters, dogs who are abandoned or lost, and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them.
ThumpingTails Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c3 organization and donations are tax-deductible.
We rescue dogs of all ages, breeds, backgrounds and sizes. Our dogs stay in loving foster homes or top-notch boarding facilities. They get any medical care and training they need. We do everything we can to make the best possible match between the dog and a new home.

OUR NAME?
People ask us all the time, where did we get our name? It came from my own dogs. Oliver was all puppy energy, running here and there, jumping and playing then collapsing in an exhausted heap. One day I found him sprawled out on the floor, too tired to move after a long play session. He could barely lift his head, but nothing could stop his tail from wagging... thump thump thump... Then from the corner, my shy dog Sienna joined in... thump thump thump... Since then my house has welcomed countless dogs, and of course friends, family and children. My home and my life are rich with love, but at the end of the day a sound that always makes me smile is the sound of happy tails thumping.
DOG OF THE WEEK 3 year old Lola is a very loving dog who will make you laugh
out loud as she plays and then runs inside and literally leaps onto her dog bed
to rest. She is super affectionate, well-behaved
in the house, loves to go for walks and play with toys, calm when left alone...

FOSTER PROGRAM We always need loving foster homes for our dogs. If you aren’t ready to make the commitment to adopt a pet for life, please consider fostering a rescue dog.
